RoSa K9 – Kennebecasis Regional Police Force
RoSa was born Janury 19, 2019 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. She was bred by Atlantic Coast Labradors. RoSa was the 2nd born in a litter of 11, daughter of Susie (Black Labrador Retriever) and Zuma (Chocolate Labrador Retriever).
RoSa was fully donated on May 10, 2019 to the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force located in Quispamsis, New Brunswick.
Along with each K9 donation Canine Therapy for First Responders facilitates supplies and services for the first year of their deployment including food, training, Veterinarian Services, Fencing, supplies etc by working with Community Sponsors and Partners.
RoSa is the only training Facility/Therapy dog directly with a Police Force in all of Atlantic Canada.
RoSa works with a dedicated force of 39 dedicated officers, 5 civilian staff, and 4 volunteer auxiliary officers let by Police Chief Wayne Gallant.
RoSa is handled by Constable Aaron Haines and Constable Lindsay Haines-Mott. She lives and resides with them and their family.
RoSa attends work at the Station on a regular basis and is well loved by members and the community. She will work towards Certification goals as she trains for her role with her Force.
